Flood light
The center spot beam of flood light is slightly concentrated, the diffused reflection light in flood light area is much, the visual angle is big, the irradiating range is wide, and the light is soft and not dazzling.
A flood light produces a highly diffuse, directionless light rather than a well-defined beam, and the resulting shadows are soft and transparent, the light fades much more slowly than it does with spotlights.
Advantages: the center spot is strong, the floodlight area light distribution is uniform, the visual angle is big, the illumination range is wide, suitable for short-distance illumination, the light coverage area object is clear, not dazzling.
Disadvantages: exposure distance is not far enough, light slightly scattered.
Spot light
A spotlight flashlight refers to the use of a spotlight lens or a reflector, etc., to focus the light so that the light spot at the center of the flashlight is bright and the brightness outside the center spot is low. The spotlight flashlight projects a directional and well-defined beam, illuminate a particular area. Center spot small and strong, far-beam effect is very good, usually using a mirror (glossy) reflective cup with small core LED. The diameter and depth (height) of the reflecting cup directly affect the degree of focusing. The curve design of the reflecting cup determines the position of the focusing point and the shape of the spot.
Advantages: center light is bright, light is concentrated, long-distance effect is good, suitable for long-distance irradiation.
Disadvantages: less near the pan-light, light can’t spread evenly, small exposure range, near the use of the central spot of the spotlight will be very dazzling.
